Apple betalar tillbaka de 50.000 kronorna som gick upp i rök för virtuella bär när barnen i en svensk familj spelade Smurf’s Village på Ipad.
Visst, det var väntat. Apple hade nyligen gjort samma sak i USA (med påpekande att det rör sig om en engångsbetalning – underförstått: ”Håll koll på barnen nästa gång…”).
Jag vet inte om det hade någon som helst effekt att jag tryckte på i TV4:s Nyhetsmorgon om detta, och röt till i Ny Teknik i veckan. Men i så fall upprepar jag hela budskapet, om nu Apple skulle missat det:
”Att tillåta ett spel för barn där man kan köpa korgar med låtsasbär för 749 kronor med en knapptryckning är inte okej.”
Apple borde dra tillbaka spelet och kräva av spelutvecklaren Capcom Interactive att köpen av virtuella bär tas bort.
Och Apple borde överhuvudtaget inte tillåta köp av låtsasobjekt för riktiga pengar i spel för barn.
Ta ansvar, Apple. Jag vet att ni kan.

Eget ansvar? Tror du att ett barn har gått och köpt en iPad och sen köpt bär eller? Föräldrarna får ju kanske kolla igenom spelet först eller ngt liknande. Visst, det är mycket bättre som det är numera där du måste skriva in lösenordet direkt när man kommer in i en app och ska köpa något i appen. Dra tillbaka spelet är lite väl förhastat att säga tycker jag. Ha kvar det som det är nu! Finns ju vissa personer som känner för att lägga pengar på ingenting, det är väl upp till dom?

Men hallå Kim. 749:- för ett virituellt köp. Det är mer än dom flesta PS3 eller XBOX spel kostar. Det är ju uppenbart att detta är ett rent bondfångeritrick. Ingen, barn eller vuxen, hade gått med på detta om dom verkligen varit införstådda med vad det innebär. I barnets fall kanske exemplifierat i lördagsgodis. Om du trycker på knappen blir du utan lördagsgodis i ett år.
Vi har aldrig haft någon Applepryl men ipadII verkade ju vara bra och enkel att använda så efter en del research var vi på väg att handla. Men då vi har barn och läser om det inträffade så verkar det lite för jobbigt att behöva kolla alla paragrafer i alla spel och program.
På min Androidtelefon har jag aldrig behövt slå in VISA-kortsnummret överhuvudtaget. Det kommer nog bli en androidplatta när de kommer med nytt OS så vi väntar.
Sorry Apple, it hurts sales when you are greedy.
Jag tycker det är pinsamt att Apple överhuvudtaget tillåter transaktioner av den storlek. Mikro transaktioner blev plötsligt makro transaktioner. Girighet är ett faktum.
Till de som tycker att föräldrarna borde ha bättre koll… Tycker ni allvarligt talat att det är helt OK att någon säljer virtuella bär för 750 kr ? Eller att någon skickar en faktura från Einiro och tar betalt för en tjänst kunden inte fått ? Med den attityden så säger ni ”att den som är så dum att den går på ett bedrägeri får skylla sig själv”. En inhuman och juridiskt förkastlig attityd. Tycker du att kvinnor som super sig fulla och blir sexuellt utnyttjade också får skylla sig själv ? Hoppas att du själv råkar ut för en bedragare snart, skall bli intressant att se om du ändrar åsikt då, eller om du står ditt kast !
Att höra Mats Lewan stämma in i Helen Lovejoys kör (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Qh2sWSVRrmo) var inte vad jag förväntade mig.
Vill vi verkligen ha amerikanska Apple som moralens väktare? I just detta fall så är det väl lätt att hålla med men att acceptera att Apple kontrollerar vad vi kommer åt leder inte till något bra i förlängningen. I så fall kanske det är lika bra att Apple börjar kontrollera vilka webbsidor vi kommer åt i Safari också? Tänk då om Ny Teknik skulle ha en illustrerad artikel om mammografi. Det skulle direkt kunna klassas som snusk och så vore Ny Teknik censurerat. Är det det ansvaret du vill att Apple ska ta Mats Lewan?

1)Du skriver aldrig in ditt kortnummer i plattan, detta gör du OM DU VILL i iTunes på din dator.
2) Du kan väja att stänga av funtionen att kunna köpa appar/virtuella objekt i systeminställningarna.
3) Köp lösenordskyddas, dvs. du måste skriva in ditt lösenord för att kunna köpa något.
4) Tro inte att det är någon skillnad på en Andriodplatta, ”appar” kostar pengar under android också. Problemet där är att INGEN har kolla på vad som publiceras.
Bara lättledda ärthjärnor som köper Apple…
För d..t att Apple betalar till idioter. Vi som sköter oss och har intelligenta barn får ju betala idioternas snorungar som inte fattar bättre. Fy Apple skärpning. Betala inte tillbaka ett öre!!! Säg till föräldrarna att de har ett strikt totalt ansvar för omyndiga barn.
Underligt att alla gnäller på Apple, men ingen alls har något ont att säga om Capcom, företaget som faktiskt tillverkat och lanserat spelet.
Visserligen tycker jag det är dåligt av Apple att inte granska spel från storföretagen lika hårt som de av mindre utvecklare, men samtidigt tycker man ju att företag som Capcom, som ofta åberopar moral och etik i fildelningsdebatten, borde bete sig lite bättre än så här. Nej, som straff ska jag gå och piratkopiera alla mega man-spel genast!
Vadå ta ansvar? Är man så dum att man kopplar ett kreditkort till sitt iTunes-konto och sedan lär barnen lösenordet till det (det måste ju vara så det här har gått till) så får man ju skylla sig själv.
Varför ska Apple ta ansvar för att folk inte tänker?
Ska Visa börja ta ansvar för om föräldrar sätter ett guldkort i handen på ungarna och ger dem PIN-koden?
Jag har nu kollat genom Apples olika supportsiter och har följande uppfattning. Ja, man kan skapa ett konto på sin dator utan att ange kreditkort MEN det måste ske i App Store, INTE i ITunes Store. Jag har ingen aning om det räcker för att sedan kunna starta en padda. Gällande föräldrakontroll så ser jag bara möjligheter att blocka IStore helt och hållet, kan inte hitta något sätt att stoppa betaltransaktioner. Ovanstående är alltså baserat på Apples online-information, inte eget tyckande. Det är mycket möjligt att jag missat något men i bästa fall är det inte helt enkelt att kontrollera köpmöjligheterna.
Men hur fan fungerar det på Android då, ingen som helst koll där. Apple försöker iaf. I detta fall håller jag med dig, men inget mot vad som kan hända med Android när det börjar säljas appar på allvar där.
”Ta ansvar, Apple. Jag vet att ni kan.” Ja – men som alla vet tar detta företag ALDRIG ansvar. Det är en feature!
Till alla som tycker att detta var föräldrarnas ansvar:
Tänk er att ni hade en knapp på fjärrkontrollen till er TV som vid varje knapptryckning debiterade ert konto med 10.000kr och för detta fick man en ny melodi som spelas när TV:n startas.
Är det föräldrarna som är oansvariga som inte ser till att deras barn inte trycker på denna knapp?
Nej, företaget som säljer TV:n har ju gillrat en fälla med ett erbjudande som ingen psykiskt frisk människa någonsin skulle nappa på.
Det är ungefär som när mobilföretagen har en rate för data roaming på 120kr/Mb. Bara människor som glömmer stänga av data roaming betalar detta.
Capcom är bedragare och det är oseriöst av Apple att tillåta detta genom deras debiteringssystem.
Det skulle vara lätt för Apple att implementera en funktion som tillåter föräldrar att sätta en limit på inköp per dag. Då kan man låta barn köpa lite låtar eller nåt program utan att riskera fastna i Capcoms fälla. (mobilbolagen tvingades införa möjligheten till en limit på data roaming av EU har jag för mig).
iPad är ju en i övrigt fantastisk produkt för barn.

”Om du vill skapa ett konto utan ett betalkort måste du se till att du är i App Store och inte i iTunes Store.”
Min anmärkning: Ange inget betalkort vid plattor eller datorer för barn, företag eller i utbildningssammanhang. Det är inte en överraskning för de flesta att numera i den här världen kan man bli betalningsskyldig med ett betalkort samt lösenord eller pinkod.
